The celebration will feature multiple stages in key locations, offering concerts, drag shows, traditional Mexican folk dances, and live music. Each night will be filled with energy as DJs and local artists take the stage to keep the crowd dancing.
The Grand Carnival Parade
The highlight of the festival will be the Grand Carnival Parade, scheduled for Saturday, February 22, at 5:00 p.m. The parade will start at Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center, continue along Avenida México, pass through the Malecón, and end in the Romantic Zone. Attendees can look forward to colorful floats, dance troupes, and lively music throughout the parade.
Selection of the Queens and the King of Joy
The festivities will kick off on February 20 with the beauty pageant to crown the Carnival Queen, held at Los Arcos del Malecón at 6:00 p.m. On February 21, the Carnival Gay Queen will be chosen, and the King of Joy will be introduced at the same time and location.
